These custom console themed overlays were edited and assembled by me to play your retro console games with a unique nostalgic bezel on Retroarch. Please enjoy and have fun. Please give me credit and the others involved if you use it on your Youtube channel. Thanks.

Most of the original artwork came from ReignStumble.

Credit is given to RetroKenesis for the bezel frames.

You can download all my console themed overlays here - http://bit.ly/2nbRtPs

Here's a Tutorial on how to fix the gap on the left side of the screen for some Atari and Master System games when using overlays on Retroatch.

I made this bezel a while back for the Streets Of Rage games on Sega Genesis for Retroarch. Today I updated it a little bit and decided to release it. Seems appropriate now with the release of Streets of Rage 4. I hope you guys like it.

Nice! I've been looking for some simple and not overly distracting overlays for my build. Any chance of an SG-1000 overlay though?

@Orionsangel Any chance that you could register at Github and put the overlays there? It has several advantages over a single-file Mediafire download. It's more transparent, can be downloaded and updated easily from the Linux/Retropie console and others could contribute by making pull requests from their own Github repositories, which many of the content creators here already have. Finally, someone could easily continue your work if you ever happen to abandon it.

Just a friendly suggestion. I just saw too many great creations become inaccessible only because their download link vanished after some time.

Thanks, these are rad! It's my first time using overlays and for some reason they aren't working - my games are set to 4:3 but all I get is a darker image (the opacity no doubt) and black borders with no actual overlay. What am I doing wrong?

@wmarcio Yup, exactly the same setup here too. Is it related to resolution? Mine is just on whatever the default is (assume 1080p)

@sad_muso I don't think so, mine is in 720p resolution.

Having the same issue. I believe the resolution on these are too high and have to be downscaled.

Exactly ... I had some free time and decided to take a look, the images are in 2560x1440, must be 1920x1080. I'm too lazy to do that now, if anyone does, please share the resized files.

                            Original size:

@wmarcio Nice one! Tried a Genesis one as a test and good news is it works at 1920 X 1080! Bad news is, there's frame rate drop on Genesis. I'm on a Pi 3B. Is there a way around this?

@sad_muso It actually seems to be a combination of overlay plus crt-pi-curvature shader. Guessing that shaders are the biggest overhead 😞

@sad_muso There are, but it also depends of the shader itself. Did you try @ghogan42's "zfast" shaders? They should be notably faster than the "crt-pi-curvature" shaders. There are also curved ones among them (one normal, one vertical) that I'm using togehter with overlays myself.

@Clyde Yes, I'm currently working on that with someone else. Hope to get them all up there soon.

These are bezels I made a while back for the first five Tomb Raider games on Playstation. I use them on Retroarch. They're now available in 1080p.
