Hey! New around here.

Hey guys, I'm Retro (an appropriate name, I know!). I've done some emulation before on Windows, with stuff like NES, N64, DS etc but my laptop went bust recently and I decided that since we're all stuck in lockdown, I'd pull out my Raspberry Pi Model B and stick RetroPie on it so I can get back into the emulation scene.
So far, things seem to be (mostly) working out of the box. Only issue I've run into so far is with the EmulationStation scraper. Neither GamesDB, nor ScreenScraper work and I get a JSON error when attempting to scrape. So, I read advise & forum posts here and installed SkyScraper from the packages menu. After an initial issue with the scraper getting the information for the wrong game, I managed to get it working with GamesDB.
I just have a question. I understand that N64 and PS1 are entirely out of the question with my (very old) Raspberry Pi version, but are there any other limitations other than that? I'm hoping to get it to work with the GBA but I'm wondering whether it will or not.
Thanks to the community so far! :)

gpSP (the default for rpi1, i believe) should be fullspeed, or close to. why not try? :)

@dankcushions Hey. I did try, but I got kicked out trying to launch the game. I assume it has something to do with BIOS files (or lack thereof)?

You could try some basic ps1 games using the standalone pcsxrearmed emulator. I have had good success with them on my pi zero, which admittedly is a little more powerful than you pi model b but it might be worth a try.

The 3B shouldn't have that big of a problem with PS1 games, it's N64 that gets a bit dicey.

@VictimRLSH I think he has the original pi model b

Yeah, mine is the original Pi B, second revision.
