      Hello!
As the tittle suggests, I'm looking for some way to disable the mouse cursor/pointer on my RetroPie build. Each time I open the DraStic ( NDS ) emulator, a mouse cursor is stuck on the upper-left corner of my screen. I was wondering if there's a way to completely remove cursors in emulators or completely, since I just use this machine for gaming. Thanks in advance.

Pi Model or other hardware: Pi 3B
      RetroPie Version: 4.5.19
Built From: retropie-4.5.1-rpi2_rpi3.img, [Pre made SD Image on RetroPie website] ...(updated to version above)
      Emulator: DraStic

What controller are you using ? Do you have a mouse connected ?

A generic (rock candy) Xbox 360 controller, with no keyboard or mouse connected.

For DraStic, I think this is how it works - mouse is always initialized since the Nintendo NDS has a touch screen and the cursor can be moved with the analog joystick. Any other emulators exhibiting this behavior ?

Just to be sure, I went and checked all the apps i've installed to see if any had similar behaviour. I made sure to not have a keyboard or mouse connected.
I found out that DraStic & Steam Link had similar behaviour.

These are my results in more detail:

None of the lr- cores showed a mouse cursor.

Yquake2 port does not show a mouse cursor.

DraStic shows a mouse cursor on the upper-left corner of the screen.

Steam Link has a mouse cursor on the center of the screen as it downloads and installs an update. I had to connect a keyboard in order to 'press enter' and finalize the update process and removed it afterwards. After that the mouse pointer moved to the upper left corner and remains there.
Each time I open the app, the mouse cursor appears at the center of the screen, then it reappears on the upper-left corner of the screen.

Kodi does not show a mouse cursor.

Unfortunately, both proprietary / non open source at this point.

Even though the emulators are not open source, could it still be possible to make a script that simulates the mouse movement in order to try to move it off-screen before opening these programs?
