For Steven Selph's scraper, you need to use the command line, for Skyscraper you add the to the config.ini configuration file, located in $HOME/.skyscraper.

I've added my credentials to the config.ini in $HOME/ .skyscraper (user:password)
          and have removed the hash.

What config file needs to be edited for ss scraper?

None seem to work as far as videos are concerned. I can get the built in scraper to work, but it WILL NOT download videos.

There's no config file, it's only through the command line.

They work for me, make sure you enable video downloading . Also, please stop using CAPS, we get what you're saying without screaming.

              Sorry, it's a habit.
anyways, so my credentials are good, and are in the correct place

turns out the videos are there.
              they are located in :
              $HOME .emulationstation/downloaded_media
but will not show up on the metadata screen, nor play.
              under video location its blank.
I have manually entered the location for two of the roms, saved the data, and the video preview works fine.
hopefully there is a way to correct this without entering hundreds of addresses.

You might have an existing gamelist that's overriding the one generated by the scraper.
