Installation error on Linux Mint 18.3 64 bit Sylvia

When I install Retropie on my Linux Mint 18.3 I run into an installation error.
I've tried several times, installing from scratch, updating... but the process always stops at the same point.

The error is exactly the same as explained in this other ticket.
