Hello.
Is there a possibility to start a game from the command line?I would like to load a script with the list of games, I think
so it would be easier for children or people without any experience in using / playing with Retropie, is that possible?I want to build an arcade with old RPi3 games (asteroids, Street fighter II, Donkey Kong, Space Invaders, Pole Position, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, pong, Mortal Kombat, Pac-Man, Galaga, Double Dragon and Arkanoid for example) turn on the arcade it would show the relationship of the games, when choosing
it would start automatically, will it work?Guys, thank you very much for your attention and sorry if I couldn't be understood, my knowledge of English is very bad and that's why I had to use the translation on google ok?

I want to build an arcade with old RPi3 games (asteroids, Street fighter II, Donkey Kong, Space Invaders, Pole Position, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, pong, Mortal Kombat, Pac-Man, Galaga, Double Dragon and Arkanoid for example) turn on the arcade it would show the relationship of the games, when choosing
it would start automatically, will it work?To this kind of setup, I'd use the Kid UI mode in EmulationStation, which hides all the configuration and only shows the games tagged with 'KidGame'. You can tag the games you want to be shown (and hide the rest) and you can set EmulationStation to start on a certain system - in your case, the
arcade
folder. This way, when you start RetroPie, the system will boot straight into the list of games and they can be started right away.
Look it up in the EmulationStation documentation pages. -
