      Hi guys.

I upgraded my 3b+ to 4.6 last night (from 4.4). Overall, good upgrade! I had some issues with one of my arcade sticks (madcatz SF2 stick) and tried to make some adjustments to controller settings.

Right now I have one arcade stick plugged in and when I go into a game (e.g. SF2), every time I I add coins through the select button, it adds two at a time. Also, when I press the start button, it automatically starts two players and even though I have just one controller in, it acts like it is two connected controllers (e.g. I move right, both cursors move right, I hit a button, both hit the same button). I did try to set up a configuration file and I'm guessing I overwrote the original config file. I've tried switching the controller config to MAME 2003, but I still have this issue (although when I switch to Bad Dudes it doesn't happen).

How do I reset my configurations to fix this problem?

      Thanks in advance!

(run in 'verbose' mode via the runcommand before sourcing this, please)

Pi Model or other hardware: 3b+
Power Supply used: Canakit 5v 2.5A
RetroPie Version Used (eg 3.6, 3.8.1, 4.1 - do not write latest): 4.6 (installed on top of previous version, 4.4)
Built From: RetroPie - original 4.4 from website install, this version was installed by choosing Update option in Raspberry Pi
USB Devices connected: Mad Catz Chun Li Fight Stick (Xbox One variant)
          Controller used: see above
Error messages received: No error messages
Log found in /dev/shm/runcommand.log (if relevant): Tried running this after hitting F4 and going to the prompt (used "cat" and -v) and it says no such file or directory
Guide used: (Mention if you followed a guide)
File: (File with issue - with FULL path) N/A
          Emulator: MAME
Attachment of config files: How do I access the config files? Sorry, not seeing where to find it in the guide?
How to replicate the problem: Pretty much, just push start on a game and it thinks the same controller is two controllers.

Where else do I look and how can I share my config files? I don't know how to pull those and I'm not seeing the directions in the help file?

what exactly did you enter? you may find it easier to access via SFTP or SSH

Hi Dank. I just figured it out.

I started Retroarch, went to settings --> input --> then looked at Input User 1 Binds and compared to Input User 2 Binds. Both had the same Controller (Mad Catz Chun Li Fight Stick) listed, so I pulled in a secondary controller and mapped it accordingly.

The problem is solved. Now I have one other question I'll have to ask in the a new topic after I search more.

              Thanks!
