RPi 3b+ (with official power supply)
      https://github.com/krahsdevil/Retropie-CRT-Edition
      Retropie-Setup 4.5.20

Automounting and populating a Pendrive (16gb) disk works witout any issues (using the automatic version). However my 128gb SSD disk (connected with USB/Sata adapter no external hard drive) is not recognized. I have tried format it (in windows...) a couple of times, both fat32 and exfat but no luck.

Is it something with the SATA/USB that is wrong? Like not getting enough power? (The cable I have is something like this: http://www.billigteknik.se/dockningsstation-for-harddisk/21181-usb-30-adapter-for-intern-25-sata-harddisk-7333048008824.html)

Or any idea how to fix this?

        We don't support 3rd party images - https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/3/read-this-first.

That being said, you should check if your drive is detected at all, the cable that you linked is an USB3 cable, while the 3B+ model has only USB2 ports. If in doubt, power the drive externally, that's most likely the issue here.

I will try that, thanks! Sorry for being ignorant and reading the rules correctly..

On a somewhat related note: will retropie support CRT / 240p right out of the box?
