need help saving settings in retroarch
-
I am on a pi 3b using a teensy controlled usb joypad (retropad). I can make the necessary changes in the RGUI of retroarch, everything can work, but it for some reason won't save my B button in mame, and it keeps defaulting to a custom screen output size instead of core provided. I have followed the configuration editor video on youtube, but when i enter into my teensy, there's no information as to inputs it is reading. it's just a blank box in nano but it says teensy at the top. I have tried many ways to save the core remaps, but nothing seems to work. I appreciate any advice you may have and thank you very much in advance!

It doesn't have Close Content on my menu..just load and scan content..

could this be a conflict with the turbo button being an auto config that conflicts with my retropad?..i have a thumbjoystick with x button, and two main A and B buttons and a hot key wired up. everytime i go in to reconfigure the inputs the turbo button is recognized as auto,b. I tried changing it but then i couldn't navigate the RGUI menu anymore because it wasnt recognizing my back button(B unfortunately) if it IS this conflict, how can i go about changing it and still navigate the RGUI menu in retroarch? ugh

i found the close session, but when it exited to the nothing running in retroarch menu, i couldn't press anything to navigate...this is difficult for me. i've been trying to fix this for like 4 days hahaah! i suck at this, but i enjoy the challenge i guess! anyway, thanks if anyone has had this happen to them and would throw me a bone, i'd sure appreciate it!
thank you
