        Then remove the shaders folder completely and re-try the update/installation.

            @jojin How did you edit the file(s) in the first place ? If via WinSCP, then remove the shaders folder.

              @mitu I edited them by retropie itself,how can I remove via WinSCP?

                How exactly ? As far as I know, there's no interface in RetroPie to edit the shaders.

                          @jojin If you have downloaded an image from our site, you shouldn't have this issue. The issue is because some of the shaders were edited on your system.

                                @jojin /opt/retropie/configs/all/retroarch/shaders

                                delete the folder and reinstall retroarch.
