      Re: WebtroPie

      Hi All,

      Running version 4.6
      Hardware RPI 3B+

After update to the above version I get a black screen when logging to Webtropie. This occurred when I first installed webtropie, however I fixed it using the advice to update php within topic 10164.

I tried to uninstall and re-run the steps to no avail. Does anyone have advice on this?

Webtropie is such a useful tool it would be ashame to lose the ability to utilize. If you are unsure of a solution but have an alternative to webtropie I would be appreciative of the suggestion.

I should mention that my ROMs are stored on a mounted NAS which i mount on the startup script. I'm not sure if this makes a difference to the way webtropie sources the gameslist and thus loads the systems.

      Thanks for any support given

Webtropie hasn't been updated in quite a long time, it might not even run on recent PHP versions. See if ARRM might be useful as a substitute.

Thank you very much for the recommendation. I will certainly look at this.

However i managed to solve my issue and webtropie is living and breathing again.

my es_systems.cfg had become corrupt so emulation station was not starting correctly. i rectified the issue by overwriting the file.
