Having trouble with adding Nintendo DS
-
@Unknown Depends where the ROMs came from. If they're from your unofficial image, then I guess you can try them with the official image. You should bare in mind that you have no idea where those ROMs came from. For all you know, the ROMs could contain viruses or malware.
It's better to source the ROMs yourself. Personally, I think pre-loaded ROMs are a waste of time. Most of the games you get you'll probably never play and so are just a waste of space on your SD card.
-
@Retro Well the games do work, and I will scan for viruses , but so far I haven't been spammed or hacked. I will keep your advice in mind. Thank you.

Try fixing the permissions of your ROM folders. Depending how you copied them they could have bad permissions and therefore not show in emulationstation.
You can fix it going to Tools in the Retropie script - it's called reset ROM permissions.

Ok I have the official retro pi image now and it sees and runs my ds roms, But I having trouble figuring out how to configure drastic.
-
If this makes any difference, I ripped the roms off my ds.
-
To open the configuration menu in DraStic, press the left trigger button on your controller. From there you can navigate and change settings.
-
@mitu Is there a way to this with a keyboard? Just curious.
-
@mitu Well I found out about the keyboard, but could you send me a link to a guide on how to configure Drastic for retro pie?
-
@Unknown I don't know of such guide, I think the menu is pretty explanatory.

I counldn't figure out how to use drastic, so I used Ir-dusume 2015 instead, which works great and is 10x easier to use.
