I've read so many bewilderingly confusing and contradictory topics and pages on this subject and I'm none the wiser - does anyone know, definitively, whether anything in Retropie runs Amstrad GX4000 games or not? As yet I've had no luck with lr-caprice32, capricerpi or advmess, but I can't work out whether I'm just doing something wrong or if it's an impossible task.

I use lr-caprice32 .. but I did apply some override settings and split it out as it's own systems in the es_systems.cfg file.

        Here's what I've got setup:

        es_systems.cfg entry:

and here are the contents of the new folder I made in /opt/retropie/configs for it:

You can also get it running using lr-mess as well.

That's super-helpful, thanks. (Sadly it doesn't actually work for me because it needs a newer Caprice release than the I have, which doesn't support 6128+, and it refuses to update because I'm not running poxy bastarding Stretch. But if I ever put myself through that hell it's good to know it should be ready :))
