Hi hoping someone can help me - I've no idea what's happened but for reason I can't say into my pi 4 anymore using my laptop.

Done this a number of times and now, for some reason without me knowingly changing any settings I can't find it.

I've checked network discovery is on and it is. It's showing other devices such as my smart TV, Nvidia shield etc, but not retropie.

I've used my phone while connected to WiFi and have been able to ssh in using that so it looks like a laptop issue, but I can't think where else to check.

When I enter the IP or //retropie... This is also not successful.

Any help would be much appreciated.

      Cheers

Did you enable the SSH in Raspi-Config? I forgot to do that when I first booted up my Pi 4. Also it's \retropie...

It's also possible that your IP may have changed. I remember one time when I hadn't used it in awhile the Pi just assigns a different IP for some reason. If it's not that... then I'm not sure what it could be.

@BGallagherLA not that either, tried using the IP and the //retropie without any joy

I had the same issue, found it was to do with my virus checker taking control of allowable "apps" in Windows 10, got round it by disabling virus checker (McAfee), when hooking up to my pi.
you might also want to check the Windows firewall.
