      Hi all,
      My system spec is:

      Raspberry Pi 3 Model B
      Raspberry Pi 2.5 Amp PSU
      SanDisk 128GB SD card
      4 x Logitech F710 Wireless Controllers
      1x 4 Port USB 2 Hub
1 x Logitech Wireless Mouse and Keyboard
O.S. RetroPie 4.6 with most recent updates

I have my Retropie setup running great with Amiga, NES, SNES, N64, MAME, etc. I just have one small problem. My C64 emulation used to run great now its giving no end of grief. I had 2 separate controllers mapped as 2 joysticks, had the Virtual Keyboard mapped to a button on Joystick 1, along with a button assigned for Mapping, another for Menu and even one for the Swap Joysticks option if I was feeling lazy. But after some recent updates its all screwed up. One time you go into the emulator and the yellow Y button on the controller is the MAP button. The next time you go in magically its now the START button is the MAP button, another time I try to reconfigure the joysticks and I map the dpad for UP, DOWN, LEFT, RIGHT and the RED button as Fire. The next thing its using the Left Analog stick and won't use the D PAD.

Now sound has even stopped working just for C64.

Everything else is running great on the Pie

I have tried to delete: sdl-hotkey-C64.vkm and sdl-joymap-C64.vjm and have the emulator re-create them when you launch it next but this doesnt help. I have removed VICE and reinstalled it. I have followed Sir Randals How to setup Commodore 64 from start to finish and it all looks OK at first but shortly after the mapping goes all over the place.

Exert from my current sdl-joymap-C64.vjm, sdl-hotkey-C64.vkm and sdl-vicerc below:

      VICE joystick mapping file https://pastebin.com/Ved45ufQ
      VICE hotkey mapping file https://pastebin.com/73GaMnDt
      VICE sdl-vicerc https://pastebin.com/EzW9UvJc

Any help would be greatly appreciated before I completely pull out what hair i have left.

      Thanks,
      Dwarfboysim
