Hey. Noob here! But I would appreciate some help. I installed retropie on ubuntu, and when I try to pair a controller, I get this error:

An error occurred connecting to the bluetooth device (/home/jon/Desktop/Retropie-Setup/scriptmodules/supplementary/bluetooth/bluez-test-device: /usr/bin/python: bad interpreter: No such file or directory)

Any advice would be appreciated. I have tried manually installing bluez and it says it is already installed. I am building a machine for some deployed military guys and would appreciate the help.

      Thanks!
      Jester

@xjestersdeadx try using the Ubuntu desktop utilities for pairing controllers instead of the RetroPie GUI.

Had the same issue on Lubuntu 20.04, the symbolic link was missing for /usr/bin/python

            sudo ln -s /usr/bin/python2 /usr/bin/python
