Dolphin audio lag
-
Hi there,
I'm experiencing audio lag or delay (no stutters or crackling) of roughly a quarter to half a second for all games on Dolphin on my Linux desktop.
I installed Retropie according to these instructions:
https://retropie.org.uk/docs/Debian/I configured Dolphin via it's GUI, since I can't use lr-dolphin because it won't run at all for some reason. Although lr-dolphin did work before, I had the same audio issue. Anyway, I only configured the controls in the Dolphin GUI and left everything else default, so the audio settings are as follows:
- DSP HLE (fast)
- ALSA audio backend
Dolphin version is this, according to the about-window of the GUI:
b3c705f
Branch: master:
Revision: b3c705fa968b8d9a0ea18da044c6de8841019790My desktop specs:
- Linux Mint 19 x64
- 16 GB RAM
- AMD Ryzen 5 2600x
- NVIDIA RTX 2060
So, any fixes for audio latency in my case? Also if anybody knows why lr-dolphin suddenly refuses to work, I'd appreciate any fix for that as well.
