      Greetings,
      I am currently using Retropie 4.6 and Ir-atari800 and at the point I am setting up my Atari 5200 and XE roms. The games show up fine on the menu and when I select them it jumps into MemoPad mode. If I go into the emulator configuration and manually change the machine to Atari 5200 then it will boot into my game. The rom paths are set correctly.

        How are you changing the emulator configuration ?
        Since you're using the lr-atari800, there's a Core option that sets the machine type, when you change that option it should be automatically saved. Is this how you change the machine type ?
