      Hi,

      Pi Model or other hardware: Pi4 2GB
      Power Supply used: official Pi
      RetroPie Version Used 4.6 last commit 5 weeks ago (21a099a7)
      Built From: Pre made SD Image on RetroPie website
      Log found in /dev/shm/runcommand.log - no log file present

      Working on my first RetroPie install as a Bartop arcade. Initially built it to connect into my TV via HDMI, every worked ok and I was able to play all my games ok.

      I've now built the Bartop arcade and now I'm connected to a 19" monitor via a HDMI to VGA connector. Everything looks ok but when I launch a game I get the below error and it goes back to the menu.

      awk: run time error: negative value assigned to NF
      FILENAME="_"FNR=1 NR=1

      I've tried this an another SD card with a brand new image of 4.6 and have the same problem

      Any help appreciated

        Hm, this looks like a runcommand isssue, there have been a couple of them resolved in time. Can you try to update your RetroPie-Setup script and see if you still get the problem ?

            Edit the topic title (by editing your first post) and append/prepend [Solved].
