Sd card backup alternative to windisk32iamger.

hello, im looking for way to backup my 32gb san disk micro sd card either without taking it out of my RP3 or plugging into desktop. when i tried to do backup on Desktop with win32imager i get an access denied error box ( lot of info on this none that makes sense to me) is there a step by step guide that actuallys works to perform a backup of the sd June of 2020

Taking a full backup, as an image, of the sd card requires to take it out, otherwise the backup will not be consistent with a running OS.
Try sd image as an alternative to Win32DiskImager. -
thanks sd imager did not work i still get an error when reading the card, i am using a belkin usb micro hub , micro sd card inserted , i used this before when i setup the RP image. really annoying
