One of the last updates changed the audio system of Retropie (or rather in the Raspbian Linux OS that Retropie is based on). Maybe your problem is also caused by it. See these threads for possible solutions:

It may still be connected to the recent change in the audio system, as it changed the way the system shows the audio devices to the applications. Maybe some emulators don't like that or require adaptations in their configuration.

However, we need more information to pinpoint your problem. Please give us all the information that's asked for in https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/3/read-this-first and also which specific emulators have audio problems now.

@Clyde I use retropie(4.6.1) install on raspbian buster (last update) and the emulator who has a sound problem are: SNES, NES,GBA,GG,PSX all this emulator. Il use a official alim for my rpi 4b

Installed from the official Retropie image or a third-party image? edit: If the latter, please test it with the official image, as third-party images are not supported in this forum.

You listed the systems (e.g. SNES), but not the specific emulators (e.g. lr-snes9x2010). You can see the currently used emulator in the Runcommand menu when you start a game. You can also change the emulator in that menu to see if another has the same problem. See the All-Knowing Trash Heap Docs for the available emulators of each system.

Please excuse my ignorance, but what's an alim?

                    You missed my other question:

@Clyde said in Sound Problem acter the last update:

Installed from the official Retropie image or a third-party image?

I.e. did you download Retropie from https://retropie.org.uk/download/ or somewhere else?
