      Hello,

I bought a Pi 4 (already have a Pi 3), and recently I downloaded and configured Retropie 4.6 in the Pi 4. It works great, my question is if exists someway to modify my own image created for my new new Pi 4, so I can use it in my Pi 3 too and avoid starting over again with the new image to update the Pi 3, I´m using both in differents TVs.

      Thanks

Not sure if I get what you want here. Here are my thoughts based on what I understood:
When you say "image", you mean all the software needed to have your pi running. Since R-PI 3 and 4 ABIs are different, you can't run the same software on both. They need to be specifically rebuilt for each board, which generates different binary files.
What you can do is to transport your ROMs from the current RPI 3 sd card to your RPI4 one.
Even better, you can separate your ROMs and save games from the binary software by moving it to a USB stick.
With that, you'll have two SD cards, one for each board, but one USB stick, which you can plug in one or other board and everything will run accordingly.

No, you can't re-use the same image on the Pi4. You'd have to either reinstall RetroPie (manually) or use a Pi3 compatible image.
