I don't seem to find the lr-beetle-psx core in Retropie 4.6 for raspberry pi 4.
It doesn't seem to be part of the packages anymore.

Alternatively, I've built this core from source, moved the .so to /opt/retropie/libretrocores/lr-beetle-psx/, but I don't have it listed in runcommand core selection. Obviously I'm missing something, so if anyone can help me to add this core to my system (and also have a word on why it's gone) I will appreciate.

      Thanks.

lr-beetle-psx is not available on ARM devices (and never was) - it's too slow for ARM systems. The fact that it's not listed as an alternative in the runcommand launch menu is normal, it needs to the added to /opt/retropie/configs/psx1/emulators.cfg to show as an alternate PS1 emulator.

@mitu Lovely, thanks. I've used ready images before, and as they had beetle-psx, I assumed it was a default package on Retropie.
          Thanks for the solution.

@xtv Just out of curiosity: Did you actually use beetle-psx on a Pi (which one?) and if so, how did it hold up since it's known for being too slow on ARM?
