I saw the PowerBlocking module from which helps perform safe shutdowns: @petrockblog
      info: https://www.addicore.com/petRockBlock-PowerBlockling-for-Raspberry-Pi-p/ad537.htm

Hi does anyone know If I install PowerBlocking for my Rpi4 using RetroPie:

      • will the fans plugged into the GPIO terminal turn off & no power served from the USB ports when I shutdown the Rpi (without unpluging power)?

I plan on using this with RetroPie and Kodi on the same device

Hi, sorry for this delayed reply.

I can confirm that the GPIO terminal pins as well as the USB ports do not serve power when the Pi is shut down with the PowerBlockling. I just tested it (again) with a Pi 4.

        Hope that helps!
