Stamp Approved Menu Music Guide
-
Soo, I wanna try to get some music playing in the emulationstation menu. Saw some youtube videos of retropie builds which have this implemented, it looks quite cool!
My question: Is there a 'retropie official stamp approved' menu music guide/howtosetup? I cant seem to find it in the documentation.
I've found quite a few forum posts but ended up with this specifically. It's quite a few years old, will it work with the retropie version 4.6?
Also found a script written by naprosnia: But is this safe to use?
I dont mind to try out some things myself. In fact this is part of the fun of retropie! But I'm a bit reluctant because the post I found was quite a few years old and the script I found is, well, not official :P Is there a reason such a seemingly awesome function isn't implemented in the official guide yet? Like... Does it give problems? ..Maybe I'm overthinking.

Naspronia script is the newest mode of ading BGM on retropie, there is no official script for this, oddly enough.

I tried adding this after I did a fresh install of the "retropie-buster-4.6-rpi2_rpi3" image... it won't load. I configured my wifi...is it the new build that needs an updated script?
