How to get started compiling our own Ports?
-
Is there a tutorial around for how to do this on the Pi? A list of known working Ports arranged in order of difficulty might be nice too, but could be asking too much.

I did find a short video for a start...

Most open source projects list the build instructions at their GitHub repository. In most cases you would clone the repository to your pi and then follow the steps listed to successfully build the source code. This is something I have gotten into recently and have successfully built a number of source ports (openrct2, openra, vcmi, dhewm3) on my raspberry pi. Is there a specific project youre trying to build? I would be glad to share what I have learned so far.

Nothing specific yet, but there are some prospects.
