      I'm running this on the pi4, it's working really well, but I'm looking for some advice. Not specific to retropie but I wondered if anyone had any experience with usb microphones and the pi?

      I'm using microphones that I believe came with a singing game on the Xbox and ultrastar has picked them up no problem. The game plays well but I have something bugging me.

      The mic is silent.. Which might be how it is meant to be... But I thought I'd hear something from it?

      The game does give the option of mic playback. Which comes through the TV and while it does pick up voice. It sounds quiet.

      Are there any settings I can change to adjust mic levels? Is the usb the issue perhaps because of power? Do I need better mics?

      Would love to hear your thoughts.
