ES Theme Building Tool for Mac?

Does anyone know if there is a theme building tool for a mac? I am building a 9:16 vertical arcade with a 24 inch hd tv (on its side) and can't seem to find any themes that are ideal and need to make some edits. I am a bit out of my element.

You just need a text editor to make themes. I use Notepad++

On macOS, you can try TextMate.

Thanks all. I found the theme building youtube videos from RetroHursty. Super helpful. Ive made some modifications to an existing theme to make something I am happy with.
