I edited the graphics for the tinny comic theme to make my own. It worked on another build of RetroPie 4.6 but on my main build it boots out of EmulationStation into terminal when I try to set it. It gives the error,

emulationstation: /home/pi/RetroPie-Setup/tmp/build/emulationstation/es-core/src/resources/Font.cpp :21: Font::FontFace::FontFace(ResourceData&&, int): Assertion ‘!err’ failed. Aborted

      Help!

@Brandon12345678 My RetroPie default splash screen also stopped appearing when this happened so how would I fix that as well?

Please add more info about your system, as detailed in https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/3/read-this-first.

The error you posted indicates your theme might be missing the font files referenced. We can't know for sure unless you post the theme to try it out.

@Brandon12345678 Ok I got it working. Using only one font helped. Thanks for the help.
