I am current running a 4.4 version of retropie on a pi 3B+. Until sometime today Mame4all was working fine with my controller (8bitdo sf 30 pro).
Now for some reason when I launch a game in it I cannot use any part of the controller. For some reason also I can use tab on my keyboard to go into the input menu but once in it, they keyboard doesn't work either. I am not sure why this has happened as I haven't changed any settings and controller and keyboard work fine in all other emulators. The roms also worked fine until today. I have transferred some of the roms into the lr-mame2003 folder which I have installed and they work fine so not sure what the problem is.
Wondering also if uninstalling mame4all and reinstalling it might help and if I do that will I have to scrape the artwork for them all over again.

You can reset the input configuration by deleting the default.cfg file - https://retropie.org.uk/docs/MAME/#controls.
