Hi Folks, still struggling with this. I used the afor mentioned Skraper tool in windows to download images and a gamelist.xml for my RetroPie setup in Linux. Transferred these to the appropriate locations in

        /opt/retropie/configs/all/emulationstation/gamelists/atomiswave
        /opt/retropie/configs/all/emulationstation/downloaded_images/atomiswave

However, the gamelist isnt providing metadata and the images are not showing up. Any ideas?

@Lamaman1971 I've never used Skraper myself (tried once but can't get it to work on Linux desktop), but just from looking at your image, I can tell you that your gamelist.xml isn't pointing to any images. Can't really say why though, since I don't know how Skraper generates gamelists.

You could just try the solution I posted earlier, though. Just do what I said in my post and use the internal scraper, it will work.

It looks like your configuration is wrong ...
You need to point the program to scan your roms at: retropie\roms\atomiswave
And save gamelist.xlm on same location.
And the folder for images and media is:
            retropie\roms\atomiswave\media\images
You could have made this configuration the first time you ran the program.

            Example of my settings:

            01.jpg

            02.jpg

            03.jpg

            04.jpg

I hope this time I was clear, and helped you.

Ok, got it sorted @SeraphisCain - thanks your procedure sorted it. Finding a Theme that supports Atomiswave is the next challenge from the look of it.

@wmarcio - not sure but I suspect your solution is better suited to Windows implementations rather than Linux? Either way, looks like a great tool but didnt get what I needed from it this time.

Thanks to both for your kind assistance,

              Mark

Oh, and also, while I'm not sure if there are any themes out there that natively support Atomiswave (I haven't seen any), there's always the option of adding it yourself. There's a section in the RetroPie docs that covers it:

                  https://retropie.org.uk/docs/Add-a-New-System-in-EmulationStation/

If you decide to go this route, let me know and I can post the Atomiswave logo SVG I use for my theme (I've added several systems to my setup that aren't natively supported by most themes).
