Raspi4 and retropie
-
Hi I have a raspberry pi4 since release 4gig running retropie 4.6 april 2020 what said stable build. I have an ipac2 keyboard decoder connected with joysticks connected. A 2.4amp usb C power supply and also a extra spare keyboard to use with raspi-config etc.
Firstly my problem is every startup it doesn't recognize the gamepad and I have to run through the config each time. It recognizes that its a keyboard correctly. This happens whether I have the 2nd keyboard plugged in or not.
Now second problem its not seeing my ethernet cable or if I run wifi config it states local country not set. If I goto raspi-config and set location it just states an error.
Finally my last problem is when I leave these raspberry pi config back to ES station no inputs work on either keyboard or joystick.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. Not sure I can provide the boot log as it keeps bugging on me and no network access

Did you disable the auto-configuration for joypad in EmulationStation ?

You can set the Wi-Fi automatically with a text file - see this doc page.

Just for someone else experiencing the same problem, make sure you have free space left on your sd card. Check if the expand fs ran successfully at some point.
