Aero Fighters (Sonic Wings) 1 on FBNeo Not Working?

Hello, I tried "sonicwi" latest rom file on FBNeo and it will not launch. Has anyone had success with this game? Sonicwi2 and sonicwi3 work fine.

I don't know about "latest rom" but with the "good rom" it'll launch using latest core, as usual clrmamepro and retroarch logs are your friends, with recent retroarch you'll even get frontend msgs about the missing roms.

Some facts about the sonicwi romset : it's not a neogeo game and it has a parent romset named aerofgt

Launching the game with verbose logging from the Runcommand Launch Menu and checking the logfile /dev/shm/runcommand.log afterwards may also provide some clues.

@barbudreadmon ding ding, thank you, I did not know about the parent rom. It works. Although I don't think this was on the NeoGeo system until 2 and 3 came out.
