All my different console rom game list videos play but mame roms I hear sound but no video display

This is a common issue with certain arcade videos downloaded from EmuMovies - the video codec used to compress those is not compatible with the Pi's MPEG4 decoder.
There are a few topics on how to fix it in the forums - https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/15764 is one of them.
If you use Skyscraper for scraping your games with video, it has support for transcoding those videos to the right video codec after scraping usingffmpeg(see the Docs). -
You can use thumbnail video preview in Windows explorer to sort your files. If there is no preview, then the Pi4 will not be able to read it correctly.
Download a video encoder like Shutter Encoder and tune settings to your convenience.
