What is the MAME ROW?

MAME ROW stands for MAME Random Of the Week. We randomly select an arcade game from the 0.78 MAME Reference Set to play on the week. The idea is to play games we've never played before, interact with other forum members, post hi-scores, share game strategies, fun facts, and (the most important) HAVE FUN!

We will play the winner all next week.

I wonder if I could get Lethal Justice to to work with my trackball. That seems like it would play smoothly (although one trackball = one player only).

Levers looks interesting. It's quick and easy to learn. The controls are really simple. It's great for high score chasing, but doesn't have a high score screen. It looks like it would be a head-to-head arcade cocktail game, but it doesn't support it because it has simultaneous two player game-play. (unless there's a "soft dip switch" I haven't found)

I think you'd have to apply a shader to play this on a "head-to-head" cabinet.

I added a shader (for my cocktail arcade cabinet) and, on day one, was able to get 7,980.

I think I have Asura Blade but I haven't really played it yet.

Asura Blade - Sword of Dynasty has a Dark Stalkers and Super Gem Fighter Mini Mix vibe to it, but Asura Blade is a more traditional fighting game with Japanese text.

I can't get Asura Blade audio at all in MAME2003 and in MAME2010 the audio is choppy. Maybe another emulator would work better.
