      Hey everyone,

I am trying to run Brave Fencer Musashi on a Raspberry Pi 3 on the latest version of RetroPie. On default settings, the game locks up during the opening cutscene as it switches scenes, but can exit back to emulationstation. If I press start before this scene switch, the game runs fine. Skipping the intro, I made it all the way to Steamwood, where beating this segment caused the game to black screen again, which caused my save to not update, putting me about 2 hours behind where I was. I haven't tried to get back to this point since I'm afraid it will just black screen again.

Has anyone here played this game and gotten it to run fine on RetroPie?

I have the exact same problem with steamwood this morning. I tried converting the track files to pbp, and an iso. Nothing is working, I'm going to see if letting the game sit on the black screen for 20 minutes gets it through. That worked for Samuari Gunman.

Just got it working, when the screen hung on black after steamwood, I went into core options from the quick menu and turned on the bug fixes for parasite eve 2 and inuyasha and the game went on.
