unable to install binary for kodi

I am having trouble installing kodi for retropie. Every time I try to install kodi it can't find one of the packages I think, not sure if it has been moved... or what I can do to workaround/fix the problem. I get the error message "unable to install binary for kodi" I have included the log below.
I have a PC x86 64 bit running linux mint 20
Retropie 4.6.7
built by script on top of linux mint following instructions here: https://retropie.org.uk/docs/Debian/
USB devices attached: mouse, keyboard, rock candy PS3 controller
error message: unable to install binary for kodi
