Pi Model or other hardware: Pi4
      Power Supply used: Pi Standard
      RetroPie Version Used: 4.6
      Built From: RetroPie website image

When using US ROMs on lr-genesis-plus-gx for Sega CD, the screen is cutting off immediately at about a quarter (or slightly less) from the left hand side of the screen.

The games are still running, but I can only see a far left strip of the screen.

European ROMs seem to be fine. I am sure I had this issue before but can't remember how I resolved it (or if it just "fixed itself"). US ROMs were previously working also, this has just started happening. I am not aware of any relevant changes I've made.

Megadrive US ROMs are running without any problem.

without a screenshot it's difficult to confirm, but this sounds like: https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/26322/pi-4-display-issue-with-lr-genesis-plus-gx

@dankcushions Here's a screenshot, everything to the right can't be seen at all. I am having trouble looking at the video in the linked thread, so can't tell if my issue is the same as the one reported there.

@AdamBeGood The link above is spot on. This is related to the widgets in retroarch. The simplest way to get playing again is by using the hotkey combo to reset the ROM. (Hotkey + B) by default. If you want to avoid having to do that each time you load certain ROMs, then look into disabling the widgets.

@YFZdude Yep, hotkey+B it is! That works a treat.

If this is going to be fixed at some point in the future then I'm happy to use Hotkey+B for the moment. Thanks!

Yep yep, I disabled widgets so this would not happen any more. Drove me absolutely crazy.

I've only had it happen on my 3B+ setup with the lr-genesis-plus-gx emulator. And it wasn't unique to megadrive games. I has some Master System ROMs also do it.

Hope they can resolve this in an update before long.
