Hey. I'm new here. I just got a Pi4 and nespi4 case. I installed retropi 4.6. Im trying to install the safe shutdown script. I did notice that a few symbols are located in the wrong spot. The main thing is I can't get the double vertical dash symbol. I get different symbols. This is for the line before "sudo dash". I tried different keyboards and different usb ports. What should I do?

You need to change the keyboard layout. The default layout is UK. You will need to set it to your preferred setting.

@Thorr69 Thank you for your help. I just had a chance today to sit down and work on it. I got it working. Thanks again
