When I have ROMs loaded into the mame-libretro folder on my Pi and select a core to use, the only options are Final Burn Neo and MAME2003. Is there a way I can use MAME2010? It doesn't say it's an optional core on the docs, so I don't know why it doesn't appear.

You'll find MAME 2010 in the "optional" packages in RetroPie setup. It isn't installed ex-factory.
