XBOX One Wireless Dongle - XOW new linux driver project

Hi all,
I hope this new driver project will work, I have 4 Xbox One pads kicking about which I'd love to use.
My wireless adapter should arrive in the next couple of days, so I can update here then (there are a lot of old threads asking for support).
Has anyone tried this with any degree of success?

Yes, I think I've seen a couple posts about using the driver successfully with RetroPie.
