      Pi 3B+ RetroPie version 4.6
      Emulator: LR-GPSP

Hoping for some help, i have encountered a game crash right at the end of the minish cap, it seems to be a common emulator problem

does this also happen in lr-mgba or lr-vba-next? If not is there a way to transfer my save between emulators? I tried running from lr-mgba but it doesnt recognise the save and starts me at the beginning.

it would be quite a disappointment to get this far in to the game and not be able to complete it.

thanks for any help you can give.

        Hi,

I found a save state online, and was able to test that LR-MGBA doesn't crash at this point. So that answers my first question....

however is there a way to convert my original Lr-GPSP SRM file so that it is compatible with lr-mgba or alternatively does anyone have a save state that is up to the dark hyrule castle?

@Cook1e_mr it should already be compatible I think all those cores use .srm.. if not you can try just renaming it to .sav and changing the format

If gotten pokemon saves from my phone years ago and got them on my pi but just renaming it .srm

You really really should report this bug here: https://github.com/libretro/mgba/issues

@UberLumby Thanks for the advice, unfortunately this didn't work for me, i have resorted to replaying the game.

@zerojay Hi just for clarity it is Lr-GPSP that crashes, Lr-mgba seems to pass this point fine.
