dodonpachi dai ou jou (normal and black label) stopped working with latest fbneo + latest retropie
-
Hi all, I used dodonpachi dai ou jou (normal and black label) with an older version of fbneo. I used ddp3.zip as a parent rom. Everything ran fine.
I updated to the latest retropie and latest fbneo, 99.99% of my roms still work except ddp dai ou jou (the normal rom and the black label one). DO you know if something changed ? Can you give me clues or links to new redumps of the roms if necessary ?Thanks in advance !

You can check by enabling verbose logging before starting the game and then looking in the log file (
/dev/shm/runcommand.log
) - FBneo should report any missing/incorrect ROMs.Can you give me clues or links to new redumps of the roms if necessary ?
See rule 1 in the forum rules.

As usual, don't update lr-fbneo if you aren't gonna check that your romsets are still up-to-date too.

You need a new rom inside ddp3.zip which was redumped a while back.......

@arcadez2003 hiya, I was trying 'ddp3.zip' on RetroArch Android + FBNeo and the system didn't recognize that game even though it belonged to the 'FinalBurn Neo - Arcade Games (1.0.0)' romset.
Now that I read your comment above, I got 'b04401w064.u1 CRC 0x17731c9d' from another .zip, put it inside the original 'ddp3.zip, but it's still not recognized.
I checked that both, the original ddp3.zip and the one with the b04401w064.u1 file inside it, have a different CRC32 to the one that the 'FBNeo - Arcade Games' database has inside RetroArch.
Do you know what could be the next step to have it working? Not sure if that CRC32 needs to be updated now, and who could do that if FBNeo developers or RetroArch developers and which new value they might need to enter there?

If your using the latest version of FBN and your rom and PGM bios are correct then you should have no troubles running ddp3

Running was working but I had to load the game individually, ie, if I create a PlayList from a folder and scan it, 'ddp3' doesn't get added to that playlist (like if it's not recognized due to a different CRC32 value I guess). Not sure if how that could get officially fix so that it's recognized when creating Playlists.
