      Hello !

It seems the Flycast core cannot be installed on my Odroid XU4 due to a build error.

      Here the complete log file:
      https://pastebin.com/8uRfUTME

      Mores informations:

      • System: odroid-xu (armv71)

      • OS: Ubuntu 18.04.5 LTS (The one in the doc: https://retropie.org.uk/docs/Odroid-XU3-XU4/)

      • list itemRetroPie-Setup Script Version: 4.6.8

I already updated the RetroPie setup Script and did apt update but no changes. I should also mention that my RetroPie installation is new: I only have the fbalpha2012 core installed with 5 games.

Does anyone know how to resolve this ? Any helps is greatly appreciated. :)

          Thanks !

I tried to look deeper into this error "Relocation overflow" and found that if I remove this line in the flycast's makefile common:
          $(CORE_DIR)/core/hw/sh4/dyna/driver.cpp
          https://github.com/libretro/flycast/blob/a3878de9a7838a61b6c17e684a1abdb185c27382/Makefile.common#L435

The build succeeded BUT the flycast_libretro.so file is only 3MB and doesn't seems to work . So I suppose the file I removed for compilation is mandatory and the problem must be somewhere else..

Let me know if you need more informations or logs !

If you update RetroPie-Setup it should be sorted now.
