Vertical games too wide in ADVMAME 0.94
-
I can't get vertical games to display properly in AdvMAME 0.94 (the ones I'm using it for won't run in anything else). For example Space Invaders 95 is almost square:
I've tried every Video option on the Tab menu and every setting I can think of in ADVMAME-0.94.RC, (eg display_aspectx and display_aspecty ) but none make any detectable difference.
Here's the RC:

Bah :(

Space invaders 95 is supported in mame2003-plus though I haven't personally tested it.
-
And in mame2003
-
and FBNeo.
iirc taito f3 performs poorly with libretro arcade emulators on pi3+ though, so advmame might be the right choice if it's not on pc or pi4. -
Just tried this game for the first time with mame2003-plus on Android and it ran well on that platform. Never played this game before ...very interesting lol.

I have a Pi 3b and SI95 runs absolutely horribly in lr-mame2003 and lr-mame2003plus, which is why I was running it in AdvMAME in the first place.
