Pi Model or other hardware: Pi 4
      Power Supply used: OEM
RetroPie Version Used (eg 3.6, 3.8.1, 4.1 - do not write latest): 4.6.8

Ran Steven Selph's scraper and it added bins of Metal Gear Solid with metada but didn't match anything to the m3u which still shows in my game list. So now I have 3 MGS games in PSX. One other thing that bothered me is it scraped all games again even though I just added MGS.

How do I get one copy of the game scraped to the m3u?

I’d recommend just using Skraper on your PC.

        https://www.skraper.net/

I run Skraper in Windows then transfer the gamelist and media over. You can filter out certain file extensions. So for PSX I only scan for cue and m3u.

scraper uses hashes to find the correct game name/title, but it would only work for .cue files and doesn't understand .m3u - see https://github.com/sselph/scraper/issues/217. You can use SkyScraper or - as @ffaddic mentioned - Skraper to scrape only the m3u files.

@mitu how can I remove all metadata scraped previously to delete data before running skyscraper?

@spm2600 Remove the gamelist.xml generated for that system - you can find it in either the rom folder or in \\retropie\configs\all\emulationstation\gamelists\<system>.
