When the scrapers don't scrape?

EDIT: Ooops I just spotted a question just like this further down. Sorry please scratch.
~~Hi! Sometimes, mostly is seems for me actually, the scrapers don't find anything at all for any of my ROMs. I have only had it working two times. One of those it worked really well though.
Is it just that those servers are down and I should try another day?
Or is there some other trick to it?~~
