      Hello all,

I am new to all things RetroPi and I have built an arcade cabinet with a Raspberry Pi 3b+ and an IPAC2 and I have everything working fine for 1 Player but can't for the life of me work out how to get Player 2 working.
When I map the controls for P1 through the Emulation Station front end it shows as 2 Controllers detected and I set up player 1 and with some minor tweaking to the main Retroarch config file I have all my buttons working as I would like but no matter what I do I can't get P2 to work at all.

I have tried adding Player 2 control button mappings to the main Retroarch config but this hasn't worked.

I know only P1 can control the main menu to select games etc which is fine but once in a game I cannot select P2 start to have a 2nd player join.

The IPAC is setup as a Keyboard

I have tried everything and would really appreciate any help and advice from anyone that have used the iPAC2 in the past. I am happy to edit anything required to get this working as I close to giving up!

      Thanks in advance

      David

Did you take a look at https://retropie.org.uk/docs/Keyboard-Controllers/#configuration-example-ipac ? It's a page specifically dedicated to keyboard controllers.
