It may not mean anything, but I wanted to mention it in case there was a relation.

The bottom line is that before I connected the controllers I was getting sound out of the HDMI port when connecting the pi to a TV and I could still plug in a 3.5mm jack and get great sound out of it.

At this point there is NO sound coming from the 3.5mm jack at all unless I FORCE it to use the jack and then it is very very low. My system volume is a 0 and won't stay when I change it and I've made a bunch of changes in the Emulation Station audio settings, but I never took the default settings down so I have no ide what they are.

Can someone post what the default audio options are for ES on Retropie when it's first installed? I just want to get back to baseline and test from there.

      Thanks,
      Mike
