Hi everyone, I have this problem and I really don't know how to fix that.
Every game on Daphne works perfectly except for Dragon's Lair. I can play it but there is no music.
I've read in different post that dlair has different channel for voice and music ad this is causing the problem. I've see there is a procedure to create a command file to fix that but maybe I did something wrong. Can someone help me with this please? Thanks a lot

@ervenom are you running audio through the "auto" option in the Audio menu of ES?

        If so, try this

        • go to Audio
        • select it
        • change to 3.5 jack
        • plug in a headset to the Pi

You should have 2 channel sound now. DL uses split stero for it's audio. If Yu our have both sides, it might be a cable issue.

Thanks. I normally use hdmi output for audio ( I have cabinet system with 2 speakers and monitor)
I've change the output to jack and plug in an headset. In this way I can ear from one side the music and from another the speech.
Is there a way to fix that without modify to much the hardware?

Run the speaker system for the cabinet to the audio jack.

That's the best way, and it's pure sound from the card.

HDMI sound is good, but really for a console style setup.

I have 3 MAME and 2 dedicated Arcade cabinets. All but one is set up this way. The one cabinet is all original, so I didn't mess with the set up. The rest all use 2.1 sound systems plugged into the audio jack of whatever I have running the cabinet.
